A centrifugal pump pumps liquid by centrifugal forces. This consists of blades on an impeller that is driven by the motor. When the impeller rotates, the centrifugal force brings the liquid through the blades to the desired level. With this type of pump, the liquid always enters the pump axially, i.e. in the longitudinal direction. That is why centrifugal pumps are also often plug-in pumps. This type of pump is relatively small and compact. Another advantage is that, due to the underpressure of the outflowing liquid, a continuous and even liquid flow is created, which keeps pressure differences in the system to a minimum. For pumping up to 74 m³/h and insertion lengths up to 4000 mm.

Toepassing centrifugaalpomp

Dit soort pomp is in beginsel niet zelfaanzuigend en worden daarom vooral gebruikt om vloeistoffen te verpompen. Daarmee is deze pomp iets beperkter in zijn toepassing dan bijvoorbeeld een wormpomp, die ook beter in staat is om vloeistoffen te verpompen met een relatief hoge viscositeit. Dit zijn echter uitzonderingen, die bij veel vloeistofstromen niet spelen. Voor alle overige vloeistoffen, inclusief corrosieve of vluchtige vloeistoffen is deze pomp een betaalbare, compacte en dus praktische optie. Welk soort vloeistoffen er precies verpompt kunnen worden, vermelden we bij elke afzonderlijke pomp.

Varianten

Ons aanbod bestaat uit zowel reguliere centrifugaalpompen als centrifugaal insteekpompen. In tegenstelling tot de reguliere pomp, die niet zelfaanzuigend is, kan een centrifugaal insteekpomp probleemloos drooglopen. Afgezien van deze twee type pompen, omvat ons aanbod diverse opties wat capaciteit, inbouwlengte, materialen en toepassingsgebieden betreft. Diverse pompen zijn bedoeld voor hoogwaardige en industriële toepassingen, inclusief de standtijd die daarbij hoort.
